Final Oscar Nominations Predictions

oscars-olly-moss

Well, the dust has settled and the ballots have been turned in. As the world wakes up on Thursday morning, Hollywood will be up even earlier to see who the Academy will be inviting to their exclusive club, and who they’ll shockingly be leaving off their list. Yup, it’s Oscar nominations morning and here’s how I think it’s going to shape up two days from now. If you want to know what my ideal Academy ballot would look like, read my picks here. Otherwise, carry on. As a preface, this year I won’t be going into details as to why I’m picking certain nominees over others as I’ve been bitten by that nasty bug called the flu so I’d rather use the time to get some rest than go over each category. I’ll leave the analysis when predicting the winners. Anyway… all nominees are listed in order of likelihood, meaning I’m most confident about the film listed first under each category, and the least confident about the fifth one. As always, click on the links to read my reviews of each film. So here goes…

Nominations will be announced at 8:30 a.m. EST by Chris Hemsworth and Academy President Cheryl Boone Isaacs.
