I’ve been vocal about my excitement for Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation for quite some time now. It cracked my list of my most anticipated movies of 2015 in January, and I gave its spellbinding first trailer the ScreenGrabs treatment a couple of months ago. Now, little under two months ahead of its worldwide debut comes a second full-length trailer. Although the bulk of the preview showcases scenes and alternate versions of scenes we’ve seen before in the first trailer, it still does a solid job of goosing my anticipation meter. This thing just looks like a ton of fun. Oh, and the inclusion of Led Zeppelin certainly doesn’t hurt.
With the IMF now disbanded and Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) out in the cold, a new threat — called the Syndicate — soon emerges. The Syndicate is a network of highly skilled operatives who are dedicated to establishing a new world order via an escalating series of terrorist attacks. Faced with what may be the most impossible mission yet, Ethan gathers his team and joins forces with Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson), a disavowed British agent who may or may not be a member of this deadly rogue nation.
Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation opens on July 31, 2015
